QuestionsHow it's made

Where does the information come from?

Legistar records (Aurora, Naperville, DuPage), municipal agenda centers and packets, weekly development reports, permit ledgers, bid portals and IDOT letting notices. Local news fills gaps only where documents aren't yet posted, and those items carry a ‡ until confirmed.

Who writes it?

The collection and first draft are automated; every issue is reviewed before it sends by the publisher, an engineer who has worked as a pipefitter, project engineer and process engineer in heavy industry. Corrections are printed in the next issue.

Is this the same as the free meeting summaries?

No. Free tools summarize one meeting at a time. The brief joins every town's agendas, the permit ledgers and the bid portals into one regional table, and names the parties on each item.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the link in every email. Month to month, no contract.
